2. 요청에 대한 승낙/거절하기

승낙 표현

I am able to ~

ex) I am able to make time to help you.

 

I am willing to ~

ex) I am willing to cooperate with you in writing  a report.

 

I am pleased to inform you that ~

ex) I am pleased to inform you that your request has been approved.

 

거절 표현

I am afraid I cannot ~

ex) I am afraid I cannot find time to help you.

 

I am sorry to inform you that~

ex) I am sorry to inform you that your request has been rejected.

 

3. 마감 기한 연장 요청하기

Can you extend the deadline for this month's sales report?

= Can I get a deadline extension for ~

 

 

** 요청을 거절할 때  "regret" 

 

• regret + v ing => ~ 하는 것을 후회하다.
• regret + to 부정사 => ~ 할 것에 유감이다.

I regret to inform you that your request has been rejected.

당신의 요청을 거절해서 유감입니다.

 

I regret saying negative things about you to other people.

다른 사람들에게 너에 대해 부정적으로 이야기 한 것을 후회해.
